Testing Equipment Assistance Scheme for MSMEs in Haryana

Testing Equipment Assistance Scheme for MSMEs in Haryana

The Testing Equipment Assistance Scheme under Haryana’s HEEP 2020 supports MSMEs in enhancing product quality and achieving global standards. By offering a 50% subsidy on the purchase of new testing equipment—up to ₹20 lakh per year—the scheme encourages units to establish in-house testing facilities for raw materials and finished goods. This not only reduces quality-related losses and rejection rates but also helps businesses secure certifications like ISO and BIS. Applicable to MSMEs that commenced production between 2021 and 2025, the scheme plays a crucial role in boosting competitiveness, improving compliance, and strengthening Haryana’s manufacturing ecosystem.

Introduction: Raising Product Quality for Global Success

The Testing Equipment Assistance Scheme, introduced under Chapter 14 of the Haryana Enterprises and Employment Policy (HEEP) 2020, is a strategic initiative designed to elevate the quality and reliability of products manufactured by MSMEs in the state. By encouraging units to invest in modern in-house testing equipment, the scheme helps businesses ensure precision, consistency, and compliance with national and global quality standards. This support directly aligns with the “Zero Defect” vision, minimizing production errors and reducing rejection rates that often impact profitability and brand credibility.

Furthermore, by strengthening testing and quality control capabilities, Haryana aims to empower its MSMEs to compete more effectively in international markets, enhance export readiness, and gain greater customer trust. The scheme reinforces the broader Make in India mission by fostering a robust, quality-driven manufacturing ecosystem that positions Haryana as a leading hub for high-standard industrial production.

Financial Incentive: 50% Subsidy Up to ₹20 Lakh for Testing Equipment

To help MSMEs reduce their investment burden and improve product quality, the Haryana Government offers a 50% subsidy on the purchase of new testing equipment, with a maximum benefit of ₹20 lakh per year. This support makes it easier for small businesses to upgrade their testing facilities without heavy financial pressure.
