Eligibility Criteria for FSSAI Registration
- Any FBO with an annual turnover of not more than Rs. 12 lakh.
- Petty retailer dealing in food products.
- Any person who manufactures or sells any food article by himself.
- Food sale done by a temporary stall holder.
- Any individual who distributes food in any religious and also social gathering except a caterer.
- Small-scale or cottage industries dealing in the food business.
- Food Business Operators with an annual turnover of more than Rs. 12 lakh.
- Applicants dealing on food products only.
- SSIs dealing in food business.
- Food operators manufacturing and selling food products by his/her own.
The eligibility for food registration and support is determined based on turnover, production capacity, nature of business, and area of operation cumulatively
